For the issuance of a study permit, Canadian authorities require proof of sufficient financial resources. Between January 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025, a single student must demonstrate access to approximately €14,000 to cover living expenses (excluding tuition and travel). This threshold will increase to roughly €15,600 as of September 1, 2025, reflecting adjustments to the cost of student living.
